Hi, just got back from Laganas and had a good time. However, would not recommend it for family's. Excellent for single people and couples. Beach was okay, but spoilt due to traffic being allowed to drive along at night. Sea water is excellent, you can walk out far and it is still shallow. Main strip gets very lively at night, lots of 18-30 therefore would not recommend it for young kids. Good thing was that their was no trouble. Weather red hot. Watch out for the Airport - nightmare, just be prepared to have to wait. Drinks start at 1.5 euros about 90p for a large bottle of beer, but I was advised it went up to around £6.00 late at night. Resturants were good value for money.

Alex Apartments were real value for money. Location was excellent, couple of minutes to beach and main strip. Pool area really nice. Rooms all face the pool and bar therefore can be a bit noisy at night and the rooms get really really hot. You can hire fans from the supermarket up the strip from 1 euro a day, worth getting.

Got sick of looking at rocks and this boat trip. The boat was not like the one we were told we were getting. Turned bad at the top of the island, so everyone was sick. Never got to stop at the shipwrek as the water was too bad. Had 3 stops when we were initally told it would be more. Choose carefully when booking.
