We stayed at the Tassia from 24th July- 31st July 2003. We had a fantastic time. Costas and his family made us feel really welcome... it was a real family affair. We were suprised how little sleep he must need. Whenever we were around the pool or at the bar Costas was always there. He works really hard.
The location for us was ideal. Far enough away from the rowdy part of the main strip to get a good nights sleep but near enough to get a taxi ( approx. 4 euros each way)
We would have absolutly no qualms in recommeding it to other people. The only small complaint ( if you can call it that) is that we weren't given enough towels and they were only changed once in the week. But I'm sure if we had asked Costas for more, he would have given us as many as we liked...oh yes, and there's no air-con ( and it's red hot at night when you're trying to blow dry your hair- GIRLS, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!!!
We ate at Bee Garden on a Friday night. Granted, it was very busy but all the staff worked their socks off! I food was lovely, better than some chinese meals I have had back home. We almost went back another night but we try not to eat in the same place twice.
Generally good food, good service and very reasonable prices.
Only down-fall (although we did laugh about it at the time) was the 2 dogs walking around the bar area when you're eating your meal- doesn't always install you with the greatest confiedence in their cleanliness.
We ate at the Pythari on our first night in Lagana ( about 4 hours after we had arrived) so needless to say we were starving.
We both had the same meal ( a steak dish) and it was beautiful, although as they were very busy the service wasn't outstanding. We really had to fight to get the attention on the waiters and we had to ask for the bill twice ( which is a pet hate of mine) Once we did get the waiters attention, they were very obliging.
