Came back yesterday from two weeks at the Amaryllis. One of the best we have been to. Certainly one of the cleanest! Everyone helpful, pool lovely and warm, food excellent, minimarket very useful. About 5-10 minute walk to beach, and 5-10 mins other way to town. Wish we were still there!

WE ATE HERE ONCE, THAT WAS ENOUGH, THE PLATES WERE DIRTY, THE FOOD POORLY PRESENTED ON A BIG PLATE TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE YOU GOT A LOT, AND ONE CHILD THREW  UP ALL NIGHT, THE OTHER HAD THE RUNS FOR THE REST OF OUR HOLIDAY.

Visited the Water Parklast year, does anyone know if it has extra slides added since then?

Another great holiday at Amaryllis. Rooms, cleanliness and everything brilliant except the girl in the shop never smiles! Get a glass bottom boat trip from Laganas beach and you will see turtles. If you want to visit the water park, go after 2.30pm as the price is half as much and there is enough to go on till it closes.

Very expensive for a very AVERAGE meal. Definately not as good as when we visited last year.

THE BEST place to eat!! Returned there many times this year, as well as last year.

Don't take everyones comments - try it for yourself. We went after 2.30pm so it was 32 euros for 4 of us. The children (age 7 and 10) went on every slide countless times, never turned away by the lifeguards. In fact lifeguards very on the ball as I saw one dive in to get a child who came down the slide backwards. Could do with some landscaping but then so could a lot of greek places. All in all a good days entertainment.

the one bed apartments are a good size and your son should be comfy in the living room, my two children have a sofa each in there.  the washing/drying is handed in at reception and usually back the same day.  can't remember the price but not too much I'm sure.  you'll have a great time there, i can't wait till we go for our fourth time in august!!

Has Paris really closed down/turned into a bar?  i hope not - loved it there

the photos of the rooms with the beds in are the studios, they are quite roomy, our friends stayed in one quite comfortably with a teenager and two adults.  great place, we'll soon be there

Only found this on the recommendation of thecar hire man.  Great food, great service, ate here three times and always made welcome.  Also always the cheapest meals we had !!   

A very different story for us.   Prawn cocktails were warm, we were told they are meant to be!  Then waited over an hour for the main courses, kept being told 2 minutes, in the end 6 mains turned up for seven of us, by then 11pm and too late for the children to want it.   The owner wouldn't go in the kitchen and ask for the other one, said he was getting things thrown at him!  Fawlty Towers Kalamaki style.  Fair enough he halved the bill and promised me if we came back another day he would promise a better evening, needless to say we didnt bother when there are so many great places to eat.  The people at the next table got their desserts before mains, and the main course (fish) was not cooked through.  The young english waiter was the one i felt sorry for, taking the flak from the customers when not his fault.

First Choice do these apartments

Along the main road towards Laganas, with Kalamaki behind you, If you find Paolos, down the slope on the road opposite, Amaryllis is next door to Bitzaro Grande.  A nice stroll to town at night, and beach in day!!  Great place, been 5 times!!
