Very, very, very nice! Food excellent, tried pizza and pasta between the four of us. Service very good and waiters had a sense of humour and a Stephen Gately look alike. Ate here twice here in the last couple of weeks. PR guy gave me some stick over the white sunglasses marks on the side of my bonce but food was so good I forgive him!
Excellent! Very basic accommodation but everything worked. Hot water all day, spotlessly clean, any problems (of which there were very few) were attended to immediately. Pool and bar very nice and are well managed. Food served from pool bar from 8.30 until 7.00 at night is very good and very cheap and Yannis, Dennis and Spiros are all top blokes. If Yannis reads this please thank Spiros for the eggs!
Nice lady, knows her stuff, speaks good english. Pay double for the privilige! My daughter had a facial skin rash, paid 12.50 euros for some magic cream which cleared it up in a couple of days. Spotted the same stuff later in a supermarket for 7.50 euros. Rest my case.
Ate here twice and chose it for our final evening in Kalamaki. Food excellent, Fillet steak was perfect. Chicken Souvlaki was faultless. Waiters very polite and helpful
Generally I prefer quality to quantity. It is rare when you get both. Excellent food, totally stuffed, couldn't even manage the mandatory couple of bottles of Amstel back at the pool bar!
OK, I,ve read all the other comments but this is basically a restaurant with a bar attached and a big telly. Food is good but strikes me as being the sort of place for having a meal, getting off your face and watching the match without moving off your backside! Personally I prefer to do these 3 activities in at least 2 different places.
They have the biggest menu. It is all good. It is always packed. It is more expensive than other nearby restaurants. Because it is so busy the service is a little slow, I ordered a drink to have with my main course and got it with my dessert! Evening was marred when the heavens opened and customers from outside had to move inside which made it a bit of a squeeze. Recommend trying food off the "specials" board. Generally a bit different and reasonably priced compared with the standard menu. The "Loaded Chicken" was a bit gorgeous!
Very nice pretty setting. Possibly the most "Greek" feeling of all the restaurants we visited. Food was very good. Place is spotlessly clean. Waiters were charming and service was excellent. Only downside was that it attracted pesky moggies who would sit and beg by the side of your table. I don't mind this but the missis hates them. Other diners encourage the cats, waiters shoo them off, cats come back, can't win! But we did eat here twice and I was up for a third visit but was outvoted cos it was a fair trek from our apartments.
Cheap, tacky, nasty, brash, pushy PR plonkers on every restaurant and bar door. Did my head in. Loads of different shops selling the same crap. OK if your idea of a holiday is stepping off the plane and getting off your head for the full duration of your hols. Best thing about Laganas is the road out of it!
My twin 18 year old daughters who are out clubbing and getting wrecked 3 nights a week back home agreed with me. One of them was here in July with her bloke and thinks pretty much the same as me.
Scott Hooley, southern softie who thinks Spurs are a football team! Bit of practice and I'd whup his ass at pool. Had to change his shorts cos people thought we were sisters wearing the same kit.And HIS MISSIS BINNED HIS PINK ONES!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way everyone. I did read the brochure. Thats why we stopped in Kalamaki!
Scott. In my world of colour faded red = pink! At least the pies are good at Hillsborough along with proper northern beer. Her indoors being good at pool is just a sign of her misspent youth.
Stopped at Dionysis & Tonia apartments in Kalamaki for first 2 weeks in September. Naomi was possibly one of the best reps I have dealt with. Always on site when she said she would be. Very polite and helpful whenever we met. Thanks and all the best for the future. (Heard a rumour of a wedding!)
Never before have I been on holiday and visited the same restaurant 6 nights on the trot! Ethnic chicken in sweet chili sauce is a must. Grilled feta starter is something special. Spicy pork is HOT!!!! Gina is brilliant, takes time out with her customers and is very funny. If you are in Argassi don't bother with the rest, go straight to the best!
