Having been worried about staying at Christina due to reading the comments on here before we went, we were very pleased to find that it's all rubbish!!

The apartments aren't up a massive hill (they're up a drive!), Christina is not mardy AT ALL (she's friendly if you're nice to her - but don't forget she is working!), the apartments aren't miles away from the resort (it's 5 mins walk!), and the music at the pool bar does not blare out til all hours (the bar is only open as long as the last residents can last!). The rooms are basic but very clean, the pool is nice and big with lots of loungers and again, very clean and the food and drinks at the bar are fine. All in all, a good place to stay.

The resort itself is great and caters for most tastes. Our two recommendations are 'Ark Bar' and 'Manos Grill' which, once you discover them, you will become a regular......as we found!! See the comments on their individual boards. Avoid 'Nemesis' restaurant at all costs (Poor service and very poor pizza! And watered down wine!), and don't go home without visiting the shipwreck!

We had a great two weeks in tsilivi........don't be put off by the comments on here. People like to find any excuse to complain!!

WOW!!!! We discovered Manos Grill on our second night and instantly fell in love with the place (and became regulars)! The food, the service, the prices, the wine....especially the food!!!.......are all wonderful and the staff are so friendly and helpful, it makes eating there even more pleasant!

Our particular favourite dishes were the swordfish (out of this world!) and the mixed grill (too much meat to mention!) The prices are very reasonable and there was always a nice bottle of rose or two to wash it all down with!!

And who could forget Manos himself??! With his loud shouts of 'ALLO!' and 'GOO-BYE!'.......He, Maria and the rest of the staff all helped to make eating there one of the highlights of our holiday. Yammas Manos!

What a place! By day.....a nice bar to have crepes (which are out of this world by the way!), coffee, the odd beer (??!!) and maybe see a film if the weather isn't so good. By night.....a veritable floor show of cocktails, drink throwing, bar burning (yes, they set the bar on fire every so often - great!) and general drunkeness.......and you can still get a crepe at 3am!!! Nico and George make everyone feel welcome and the cocktails are killer!

What more can we say......if you're in Tsilivi......GO!!!
