A big hello and massive thanks to the excellant Costas, Yiannis and gorgeous Katerina for making our holiday in Tsilivi unforgettable!!!! We discovered Joker on our first night, only went in for a quick cocktail, Helen ended up dancing on the bar, and we stayed all night and every night after!!! Ice cube lobbing, stripping and great banter along with some killer shots and cocktails made the evenings the highlight of our week. Tried some of the other bars but always came back here. If we had to be critical the DJ played the same music every night, but even that didn't put us off!! Just hope they are all there when we go back next year.

Fantastic views, rooms always clean (fresh loo roll everyday!!), a good shower with hot water at ALL times, air conditioning, comfy bed, an easy 10-15 min stroll to the beach, 5 mins into town. Frances even arranged a mini bus to collect and return us to the airport. What more could you possibly want from an apartment in Greece. True there was some traffic noise in the mornings, but just shut the double glazed doors an turn on the air con, no problem. As an added bonus Sandra's bar is next door where you can get a decent cocktail on your way into town, and does the best omelette in town for breakfast (not a bad full english either!!).

Booked flight only with Thomas Cook. Flights were pretty good and air crew seemed ok. The ground staff at Gatwick were fine too, unfortunately the ground staff at Zante airport were very rude and not particularly helpful. Shame really, let the company down.

Definately the best resort on the island (we scootered around one day and checked out the others). Not to noisy (if you want serious nightlife go to Laganas, it reminded us of a very sunny Blackpool), loads of bars and even a couple of places to have a dance. We tried a different restaurant every night and did not have a bad meal in any, plenty of authentic greek food (which has included chips for the last 12 years I have been visiting various islands of Greece), two people can have a decent meal for 20-30 euros including drinks. Nice beach fairly clean with lovely crystal clear sea, 6 euros for a pair of sunbeds with a shade for the day. We were very sad to leave and would definately go back. Even though the airport is a nightmare, but they are supposed to be expanding it, but it is Greece so don't expect it to be anytime soon!!
