i went to kalamaki for the first time about 10 yrs ago. i go about 3 times a  year in 2003 i went with penny on may 1 and came home oct 20 some holiday .i can say that you will find no better place than kale .to go through the place for a holiday from a view of a person who has been just for two weeks at a time  who tend to get stuck in the same places and a person who has spent longer at one time and cant just treat it as aholiday some places i would reccommend.    breakfasts   english   lighthouse [dereck and veronica] point break  both good filling break fasts.  for your main everning meal if you are not at all adventoures   try  mermaids big meal very english  for a greeck meal try mickeloes10 out of 10 but for a real treat try petrinos fish disheers are somthing to die for and his klefttiko in filo is just unbeatable.  another very good place to eat is sugar reef  [dennis the king of cocktails and all his clan ]  even if you dont eat  at reef go back and have a cocktail to end the night .for your one or two drinks befour or after ameal try the cave bar as a starter then as you move back down the hill turn left and you will find mustang across the road yoou will fid al asandros then move further down the road oppisite cava-dora you will find the savoy do not be put of by first apperances this is the bar this is mr kalamaki himself this is lambros once a friend always afriend people who have not been to kaki for years stiil tak of lambro as a true friend and greeck gentleman  if you want to end the night with noise try down under if you want romance have a last cocktail in sugar reef just leave it to dennis

  just had phone call from  lambros the savoy is no more he hopes to be somewhere in kalamaki and said he would let me know i will post details as soon as i have them in the mean time i wish all who know us a very happy 2007hope to see you in kalamaki 

 Lambros has closed the Savoy  He can now be found at Panorama opposite the taxi rank     He hopes all his friends will come and see him there (from the end of May)

stayed at plubis for the first time this year have been going to zante for about ten years .we did stay from may until oct in 2003.used plubis pool since it was built nomatter where we stay as the family that run it are so nice drinks and food are not a rip off  this june we booked on line to plubis and used the bar at night for the bar b q what a night with mama pappa and the boys. we arrived home mid june and two days latter booked plubis for 30/8/07  not long now .
