Great journey, wonderful scenery, excellent tour guide, lovely taverna at end of journey, we can't come back in 2004, but we have booked for 2005 so that we can make it for the train journey in the evening so we can experience the night at the taverna

We went on the train ride last june [2003] and I was just browsing to see if it is still running because we all ages from 9-69 enjoyed it so much that we want to book for next year when we return to Alykes.I was shoked to read the comments by Daryl and let people know that I think he must of been having a very bad day, because the scenery was lovely and the folk museum looked like a folk museum was supposed to look . We just hope that we can book the evening up at the taverna next time because it was fully booked last time

don't go with my travel, maybe it was just the rep we had,but she didn't want to be on the tour . as i saw and heard her remonstrating at a male colleauge on another coach that he should be on our tour. it took her an hour before she even spoke to us, and spent most of the time on her mobile phone arranging her evenings entertainment, once reaching zante we arrived at 18.30 we were told to be back by 20.15 as the coach had to leave at 20.30. 90 mins is not enough time to shop and have a meal.when we got back to her resort she left the coach not even saying goodbye. save your money go by the bus and get a cab back

great great great. the best greek night we have ever been on. the plates smashed all night 

a lovely restaurant , the food is always good and plenty of it, the service is first class we love this place.my son says the cheese pies are the best, but i think the cherry special ice cream is wonderful

we have stayed at beach house twice and we love the bar, usually we get out there about this time of year, but as one of our boys is taking GCSE's we can not go until August, But I am so looking forward to drinking cocktails in the bar, my boys think it is great there. WE  are really looking forward to seeing Vickie and Spiros , they probably don't remember us, Roll on the 1st of august

yes the service was slow , but i think they had a staff problem , but the food was delicious the nights we were there, i loved the lamb in honey sauce

we went in one time and had chinese, it was lovely, a couple of nights later we went to have curry , it was un eatable , the dishes we had ordered were not supposed to be too hot , but they were so we leftit , but the person from front of house demanded to know why we had not ate our food , he completly humilated us , i was made to feel like a naughty child , i will never eat there again

great food , lovely people , we ate there 3 times and each time the food was fantastic the service great and the greek night was really good  

only came a couple of times , but wish it had been more , but only found at end of stay , lovel atmosphere

What has happened, i tried to book a stay at beach house and was told by manos they no longer have the beach house. i was very disapointed as i wanted to go there next year to celebrate my upcoming birthday,( the sort that end s with a 0) can some one let me know. Also Vicki and Sprios congradulations on the birth of your daughter. My son Toby was always asking about what you were having. I thought you would like to see some pictures that i took last year

why can't we bring olive oil back? part of the joy of going to greece is bringing back the olive oil and using throughout the year and then having to come back to buy some more. Thats my excuse for coming back every year and i'm sticking to it
