Heard good things about this chain of hotels, are going on 25th july for 2 weeks with two kids aged 12 and 9. Anybody else going out there with kids about the same age?
We booked our holiday through Thomas Cook/JMC for July 25 - August 8th 2004. Got a letter saying our flight was going to be delayed until 9th August. When we rang our travel agents they said that there were NO late rooms and NO overnight accomodation. You have to check out as if you were leaving on the Sunday. For us it would have meant 19 hours at the airport!! We were lucky and have managed to change our flight. I suggest anybody who got a letter saying there flight had changed to Monday checks it out before its too late!! What a horrendous way to finish your holiday!! Good Luck
Just returned today from this hotel. It was absolutley fantastic. The animation team was fantastic. We took 2 kids aged 9 and 12. When the oldest one wanted to play water polo but it was getting a bit rough they started water polo for kids the next day. The evening shows were fabulous especially "The Fire Show" The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We were quite anxious about the animation as last years comments were quite negative. I can't praise the animation team enough. I would recommend playing French Boules with Mateo in the morning (he's a professional cheater!!) Water Gym with Kika, darts in the afternoons, volleyball with Pietro and Paul, the lis is endless!! In fact the entertainment team made our holiday so great we only went on one excursion and only left the hotel when it was their day off!! Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous holiday. Can't praise it enough.I defy anyone to go there this season and not enjoy themselves. And even though the airport is small and extremely crowded, we went through exceptionally smoothly and left 20 minutes early. The only grumpy bit was collecting your baggage at the start of the holiday. You only need a little bit of patience, you get it in the end!!
