i loved the food here, the best place for pasta dishes without all the cheese, very generous portions and u can actually see your food being cooked which was good. a pity we went at the end of our holiday otherwise i would have eaten here most nights. the only downside was the tables were a little cramped.
some guys we met recommended this place. Ruby and The Prince of India are set in the same restaurant which was good as i had an indian starter and a chinese main course, which you don`t get anywhere else!! reasonably priced, we had 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 pints (classy ladies i know!!!) which cost just under 50euros.the staff were really pleasant and the food was gorgeous. the best indian and chinese restaurant in laganas
wasnt really keen on eating here as every time we walked past the staff were always pestering us go in. took pity one night as we were starving and what a mistake that was! i had the bbq chicken which wasnt that nice, the bbq sauce was thick and lumpy and tasted more like bisto. we ended up having a chocolate knickerbocker glory in hotlips which was nicer than the meal!!
im shocked that this place hasn`t got a thumbs up next to it. we ate here quite a few times and i really like it, there was a variety on the menu even tho i had the same every time!! we did eat quite early (about 6ish)the staff were pleasant john the little guy was funny, he showed us different tricks every time we went in and was teaching my friends greek. i think hes been watching too much only fools and horse`s from the bar down the road as he was always saying luvly jubbly!! ha ha. i didn`t notice the birds or the nests, there was the odd fly but u get that in most restaurants
i ate here quite a few times in the way back after a night out. the service is a bit slow but i thought the food was beaut, especially the hotdogs and pizza oh and them fries with the cajun flavouring mmmmmmmmmm. met sum guys from wakefield ( hi pete and carl!) who ordered a pizza, when it came the box was huge and the pizza was tiny, pete didn`t look to happy to say the least!!
if u want a good ol sunday dinner minus the stuffing then go to fatsos. we went on both sundays and although it doesnt look appetising in the metal trays whilst kept heated up it was actually quite nice. eat as much as u can for 8.50 euros. we piled are plates up and struggled but thats cos our eyes are bigger than our bellies!!!
