Amaryllis was the best place me and the mrs could hope for. met a really great couple there with their daughter and had some wicked nights with them. the staff are superb, especially Panos the barman, (what a legend). Hotel was clean and modern and the airplane noise isn't really noticable. had great fun with the staff when greece won the final, what a night!! Location was great, only 5 mins to beach. Recommend getting a pedlo, 10 euros, and we saw turtles every time. take snorclin gear tho. Loved it to bits.

don't worry mate, the noise really is not a problem. the airport isn't heathrow and after a day looking at the planes you won't even realise them. There's probably about 10-20 planes a day.

This was one of the best places to eat. The portions were massive and personally i loved the fact they did breaded garlic mushrooms for a starter. Loved the service, real friendly and quick.
