I returned from holiday on sunday 25/08/04. I stayed in Calliniga II, it was basic and clean. The bathroom was nice and functional, the kitchen was very small but who cooks when they are on holiday? The bins were change every day. If you had any problems the owners were more than helpful and assisted you ASAP. The hotel up the road was noisy during the day but quiet at night. The calliniga bar stays open as long as it has customers but turns down the music, I was not disturbed when I had earlier nights. The apartments are brilliant distance from town away from the noise but an easy distance to walk for a meal and drinks. From calliniga II you also get a good view of the fireworks from the beach party that happens every friday night. I MUST MAKE A SPECIAL MENTION TO THE THREE BROTHERS WHO OWN THE COMPLEX AND SHOP. DENIS IS A SWEETHEART, WORKS HARD BAND WILL DO HIS BEST TO MAKE YOUR STAY THE BEST IT CAN BE. NICOS SPEAKS GOOD ENGLISH AND IS ONE OF THE FRIENDLIEST MEN YOU WILL EVER MEET. DENIS AND NICOS ADDED EXTRA PLEASURE TO THE HOLIDAY BUT WATCH OUT FOR THEIR SPECIAL COCKTAILS BECAUSE THEIR LETHAL!

Unfortunately, we did not discover this restaurant until the last week of our two week stay. We visited the restaurant 5 times between 19/07/04 and 25/07/04. The menu is not as extensive as some other restaurants but the food is of the same or better quality than the manos grill. The service can be slower at the very busy times of night but it is mostly excellent. The waiters are really friendly and the food is delicious, good protion size and quality but less expensive than some other top restaurants. PLUS THERE IS THE ADDED BONUS OF BEING ABLE TO SIT IN A RELAXED ATMOSPHERE AND WATCH THE SEXY WAITER SIMON AT WORK. He is enough to put a smile on any girls face!

I had a two week stay in the calliniga II apartments and left on 25/07/04. The were basic and clean. The bathroom was functional with a good shower. The kitchen was very small but adequate because who cooks on holiday? The hotel up the road was actually nosiy than the calliniga bar but the noise reduced at night. The calliniga bar stayed open as long as you wanted but turned the music down at night (I did not get disturbed when I had an early night). Calliniga II was also a brilliant place to see the friday night fireworks from the beach party at midnight. The apartments were excellantly positioned - a short walk from a nice cove, near to the main beach, away from the noise of town but an easy walk in. The rooms were basic but had all you needed! The bins were changed everyday, sheets and towels every 2days.Any problems were sorted out quickly. A SPECIAL MENTION TO THE THREE BROTHERS - Denis is a sweetheart who will go out of his way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Nicos speaks good english and is the friendliest guy you will ever meet. Both made the stay extra special but be careful of their special cocktails because they are lethal :)

We went to the med 5 times in our two week holiday. Friendly atmosphere. The food is gorgeous, good quality, good portions and less expensive than some of the other top restaurants. The service can be slower at peak times but is usually excellant. Worth a try to make up your own mind. You get to have a nice meal in a relaxing atmosphere and get to watch the sexy waiter SIMON hard at work. He is enough to put a smile on any girls face, worth a visit just for him!
