It was my first visit to a Greek island last year and what an excellent and very beautiful island Zante is. The Rainbow apartments were ideal for the holiday, basic but comfortable. I loved the view from the balcony of the olive trees and cockrels! I will definetely be going back to Zante and will stay in the Rainbow. Sam(June 2000)

I totally agree with you Fiona. I think the Cave Bar is an excellent place. Simon - if you want cheaper drinks then go and find them but I bet they won't be as nice as the Cave Bar!

Stayed there for a week this year and found it to be okay. You don't spend much time in your rooms so even though it was basic it was passable. I don't think I will stay there next year though and would like to go back to the Rainbow with the view of olive groves rather than a brick wall!

I totally agree with Flip Flip! I also had an awful meal, which was also cold when served and the tast of it was awful. I would never go back there again! I thought it was quite pricey too when comparing it with Mikalos.

This resturant is lovely! The food is superb, the service is fantastic and the price was very reasonable. The resturant looks beautiful with all of the flowers and it is very clean. Everybody should try this when going to Kalamaki. Allison - if you thought it was snobbery then may be you should go and stay in Laganas and eat at the nearest fish and chip shop!

This resturant is superb! I have just two favourite resturants in Kalamaki and this is one of them. The food was great and had some great traditional greek specialities. Simon - I am so pleased that you actually found one nice thing about your holiday and that you didn't complain about anything! Is that a first for you?

2nd year running to Kalamaki and every evening at happy hour we would scooter on down to the Driftwood! The cocktails are fantastic! Try their slush puppies with a choice of spirit in it too. The band that plays there is great too! Friendly staff
