we have just arrived back from zante after staying at the alexander hotel.we had many problems here regarding the rooms,after a long tiring journey we were put into 1 room instead of the 2 that i had booked.on entering the room there was damp and water running down the wall from upstairs making the top bunk wet,door didnt lock,air con didnt work after paying for it.reports to reception were very slow to respond. then put into other rooms air con still not working,then toilet broke and we had to wait until next afternoon till it could be fixed.pool there good but not sup**vised.snacks served good.bar only served 3 drinks at a time which we found not to good as we were a family of 4.beach nearby sandy and good to swim with fish.boat trips good to caves and turtles.visited sarakina via yellow bus had great night with good greek dancing and good food.loads of clubs if you like them.

booked though our reps JMC we were told that you pay double but it was a long way to the blue caves and also it was our first trip.boat good and lots of space on the boat as it was almost empty.crew very good and spoke english,food on boat expensive so take your own.our JMC rep louise was brill she made us put on makeup 4 trip so she knew who she took.water at shipwreck was cold and strong current was stoney beach which had tar on.we had swim stop at a small cove that was good but you had to jump off boat.sea brill colour blue,caves good but our boat to big to go into caves.would go again.
