Just back from 2 weeks at the Commodore - had a fantastic time and would definately go back. The rooms are spotless and the staff are really friendly. Give generously to Cody's "Ferrari Fund" - great barman and a great laugh!!!
Only downside is the "Chicken Run" - a few restaurants just down from the Commodore all trying to get you to go in - once past there are no problems.

Sorry - but just had to write in response to the last couple of posts.
We have gone to the Commodore for the last 3 years and can honestly say that we have never had a bad holiday there. The staff are friendly, go out of their way to help and can't do enough for you.
Last year we were given a room next to the pool which was very noisy, we asked if we could change and they moved us to a 1 bedroom apartment on the top floor without any problem (we had booked a studio!).
Yes, the rooms are basic, but so are most apartments and hotels in Greece.
Our room was always spotless and the maids, although unable to speak much English, were really nice.

Just returned from spending 2 weeks at these apartments. The staff are fantastic, rooms spotless - can't say anything bad!
I would highly recommend these apartments - when we booked, the travel agent tried her best to put us off as they are only "1 star" - they are basic, but everything you need is in the appartment - I will definately be back!
