Returned back to UK last Friday (24th Jun) aftter staying in the contessina for 2 weeks.  It was the cleanest place that I have ever stayed in in Greece.  Yes there was a bit of noise some nights coming for the bar but i suppose it does depend on which room you are in.  We were in the same building as the bar, quite close to it in fact, but didn't find it too much of a problem.  Nice pool but there are alot of sunbeds and it does seem a bit cramped.  Aso people put their towels on the beds really early in the mornings so come 9am all the best beds are taken....the pool is open to anyone not just residents!  Can't comment on breakfast as we chose not to have any.  We went up the road to the Utopia Bar on the corner where you can watch Sky news whilst eating your breakfast ( I can recommend the sausage and egg baps for 2.80 euro...yumyum!).  Hotel is in a great location, 5 mins from beach and even closer to the main road.  All said and done, we would go back to the contessina no problem!
