Just want to say to everybody, thanks for a great LIVE 8 NIGHT, Plus Soda was the place to be for that night. We was rammed. Almost closed down by the police, said we were to noisy, I THINK IT WAS we were too busy.

The Atmosphere was electric, best band of the night, was The Who, Robbie was brill, and Bob Geldof was the man.

thanks for you comments we know, we can't please everybody all the time, but we all work so hard to be fresh and fun, we lead where others follow, this week we have a comedy hypnotist simon dee, really looking forward to that, plus the euro jackpot is now up to 3,000 euros, so we shall see if some body wins this week.

Says Goodbye,

I would like to say thank you to everbody in Kalimaki, at Mermaids & Plus Soda, for all the Kindness that you have shown. I have had a blast, took the club from # 5- #3 in the chart, and #2 in clubs.

So much has gone on this season, with the Radio Station Island 88.6, and the change in demographic, but we came through, it.

Met some cracking people, from DJ;s, Guests, Locals and of course the Workers.

Big Thank you to Con, Adel, Yanni, Pedro, Emma, Maria, Dermitri, Nick, Lucy, Lara, Alison, to name but a few.

Plus all the Staff at Island 88.6, and the Listners, on the Island, Guests and locals.

I am away to set up a new cruise line called ROYAL ZANTE CRUISES, based in the Caribbean on The Federation of Island St Kitts & Nevis.

I will still be Broadcasting my weekly Caribbean Connection Show from first the UK and then the Caribbean. Catch it on a Saturday Night 7:30-10.00

Mermaids - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your meal at Mermaids,

and those comments I can not reply too.

However, I would like to point out that I was brought in to take over from DJ Rich (who did a good job ) at the end of the Season, as he was leaving, because he had other work lined up in the UK. So your comments are mis informed, and have nothing to do with money.

In fact the Club is bussier now than WHAT IT HAS BEEN DURING THE SEASON, (Not saying Rich did a bad job, It was a tough season)

This can be confirmed by Con the owner and Yanni and the rest of the staff..

In fact if I was useless Con WOULD NOT EMPLOY ME.

A General comment is, If you book to come at this time of year Mid October, our guest's are older people, looking for that, style of Enteratainment, and if you had noticed the nights I took over,

Rich was still working there, I was brought in to boost the early evening and work til Midnight with Rich taking over inside, so you only had to wait till Midnight, if what you wanted Rich could supply.

From what I remember, Rich was Glad of my help as he was not happy working with that type of crowd doing Karaoke, and did not want to do it, so he was Happy that I could keep the crowd , get them into the club, and it was up to Rich, if they were going to stay.

In fact now Rich has gone, The Club and Bar is now the buissest in Kalaimaki, with very good crowds in side of all ages till very early morning, last Saturday it was 4am, with over 30 people still there.

If Con had his way I would be working there seven night a week if it was not for the fact I am in demand else where, in other clubs around the Island , Red Lion and Legends, to name just 2. I would consider 7 nights.

OH and by the way not sung Jake the Peg since, Only did it twice, because of a guest. And if you can do a better Job, why not apply for it next year when I am working in the Caribbean. I turned down returning next year, as I have just started my own cruise line

Other than that Con and Adel run a good place in both Plus Soda and Mermaids, and if you do not like it there are other place to go.

Well Hello to everybody at PLUS SODA,

Just a quick word, DJ Ginge returns to Plus Soda for 2008.

After having a great meeting with Con in London a couple of weeks ago, about how the club has fared since I last worked full time in it in 2005. Con made me a very generous offer to return, I have agreed, and excepted his offer and it feels like I am coming back home.

I really missed the Island last year, even though I had a lot of offers to return, but was busy with other work, in the UK and Caribbean.

I am looking forward to seeing a few friendly faces and meeting some new ones.

I know the club had a hard time last year, however for 2008 its about to undergo a Major Exciting New Refit. Plus Soda will undergo an extentsive interior change round, which we feel will improve the look and feel of the club, espicaly after the midnight noise curfew.

We have lots of new entertainment lined up for our guests over the summer,

which we are looking forward too, running.

I hope that this season, between Con, the Staff , myself and of course you our guests, we can put PLUS SODA, back on top in the Kalimaki, area, and have some great fun too.

Arrived on Monday, flying from Gatwick to Athens and then taking the coach and ferry, to Zante, what a journey , pretty packed trip as people were returning for easter on the island.

Made my way to Kalamki, from the new coach station in Zante town , which is a vast improvement on the old one, very easy to get taxis's from there as well.

So this last week has been busy catching up with people, looking at the new work on PLUS SODA, its gonna look a lot bigger than before, and with the major changes in side, it will be even bigger inside.

Mermaids should be open for the 3rd of May, and look out for the new girls, LU, Amanda and SAM, who have been working so hard to get Mermaids ready.

Looking forward to a great season.

Hi to you all

Well we opened on Monday, this week, despite the fuel strike, and boy what a busy time we have had getting PLUS SODA, together.

We had a rather little low key opening, with Family and VIP'S , we have had really good turn out even though it has been quite wet and cold in Kalamaki.

The new style bar is working very well, and the club has more room in side, Yanni , Frankie , are busy mixing the cocktails and keeping happy behind the bar. We have a lovely waitress named Elder, who started this week. We had our first quiz's and Karaoke, and the club nights have gone very well.

Seems its a cheese and RnB crowd, with a little house.

We would like to say thank you to past Guests, who have been coming this week, and have commented on the changes to the club. they are getting people in really well after midnight and we have been very busy and had a few very late nights, which we hope will continue.

So when you come over we are looking forward to seeing you.

Comes to the Factory Club,

I am pleased to say hello, to all future and past guests of the Factory, and thank you to Spiros (The owner/manager) for making me very welcome. I am looking forward to puting the Factory back where it should be as the number 1 venue in Argassi.

I have been appointed entertainment manager and I endeavour to build on the work that has already been done to make the Factory Expierence , even better, with Themed Party nights, live entertainment , Cheese "n" Requests , Karaoke , Quiz's and our nightly Fire Show which takes place is already a legend in Argassi , is run both inside and out. I want to thank Kosta for teaching our English PR/ Lads to fire breath so quickly and safely .

Remember at Midnight the expierence continues , when the mainroom opens with DJ Sunny and DJ Dave Dee, bringing you the best in Electro House, Bassline and Club Classic's, playing till the wee hours of the morning, we want the Factory to cater to all your needs.

The Island maybe half way through the season, but our season is really just starting to take off and so far, has gone very well.

So please tell us what you think of the club, and what you have liked and what you would like to see in the future and also your pictures as well.

Big Thank you to all the positive comments about the changes with the Factory Club.

The First Saturday Night Fancy Dress went very well indeed , big thank you to all our PR Staff for a great job. (Pictures to Follow)

Last Night we had X-Factor Singer Karl Lewis Gave us a Fantastic Night, he proved Simon Cowl , had it wrong and the audience like Sharon and Louie , just loved him.
