Sofias Pool Bar - (Bars in Kalamaki)

Vicki

We went to Sofias bar every Monday night and Thursday night just to watch Elvis - he was amazing!! He was the reason we went there and enjoyed ourselves so much - on the last night he even gave me his silk scarf because the manager had asked him to get me on stage! Ha!

Always very friendly, the young blonde haired girl who works there too was always helpful. My only gripe was the cost of the drinks. Normally a round of drinks for me and my partner was no more than 4 euros in other bars. At Sofias it was always at least 7.50 euros! They charge 2.5euros for a 0.5 litre bottle of water. The supermarket across the road charges 1.20 euros for 6 x 2litre bottles!! It was cheaper to drink alcohol there!

Still loved it though - they had a few other live acts on also which were quite good - BUT NOT AS GOOD AS ELVIS

Venue - (Bars in Kalamaki)

Me and my partner loved it here! My partner did because he just talked to Tony every night about Liverpool football club and Steven Gerrard!

Karoke a good old laugh - got a bit tired of hearing the same songs towards the back end of the two weeks but thats what the customers were choosing to sing, not what the bar was choosing to play!

The girls who take drinks orders are amazing too! Really polite and friendly and a good laugh - the whole bar was just really friendly. Stayed there till nearly 4.00am one morning!!

If you are going to Kalamaki - you will find yourself here at least every other night! x
