caretta beach hotel was a lovely place to stay in.We stayed in room 210 and every time we came back to our room it was sparkling clean and the bathroom didn't smell as much because the bin was empty and all the beds had been made.(because the cleaners had been in).The only bad thing was that we didn't get clean towels so we had to use the same ones everyday for a whole weekand they smelt really bad.the other thing was that every night ,the people coming home from the bar would always be noisy and all you could hear every night was shouting

Me and my boyfriend stayed here last year and really liked it, but this year the hotel  was just too noisy. We're a young couple and got pissed everynight but it was impossible to get any sleep at any hour of the day. People were going round slamming doors and shouting right outside our door and there was a family next door to us. The hotel itself was very clean and the pools were nice, alot better than last year. Mike the entertainer was a legend, he made us laugh trying to copy everyones accents. Vangelis behind the bar was very friendly and gave us free drinks. The maids were annoying cos when we did finally get to sleep the maids would be screeming and shouting at each other outside out door so we couldn't sleep and only changed our towels twice in two weeks. We also got the fridge open without paying for it and we didn't need air con cos some nights it was cold. It rained for three days while we were there. Can't wait to go back to Laganas next year but we will stay at different apartments. Best bar on the island was the Hawaiian Club the owners Petros and Dennis are really friendly and kept giving us free cocktails. The best bar on the strip was Zeros. Best restaurants were Georgios and Garden of  Eden. Hello to all the people we met during the 26th August - 9th September.

Excellent beach and views. Loads of watersports and diving. The only let down for us was the barmaid that is on the picture on the left below, called mandy i think. She was very rude to us although we were really nice to her, dont know if she was having a bad day but for whatever reason she was rude to me and my boyfriend.We also spent loads of money in the bar/cafe so you would think she would be at least curtious to us. We spent the day there and spent alot of money in the bar and when we asked her where we could get a taxi from she ignored us so we asked her again and she shook her head at us and said ask at the food bar if there is anyone still there. We only wanted to know where we could get a taxi from we would have walked back to laganas if we would have known it would have been so much trouble. Anyway apart from that lovely place, nice food, shame about the service.
