We had a great time on the full day cruise. We went onto shipwreck beach but make sure you wear something on your feet as it is all small stones and kills you feet. We were able to swim there, at the Keri caves and at the blue caves.
We have just got back from Kalamaki and are trying to book for next year already. The resort is not too commercialised and all the restaurants on the main road in Kalamaki are generally still very personal (except Mermaids) and give you a very welcoming and friendly meal. Try Milo's or The Olive Tree, we loved the staff threre and the food was fantastic.
I am sorry to disagree with you Terri-ann but we did not enjoy our 1 meal here. They we had to wait 20 mins when we arrived just for a drink. I ordered steak, as i do not like fish, and when my steak came it tasted of fish (apparently they are cooked on the same grill - this is the reason i was given with no apology). The waitress we had obviously did not want to be at work as our meal was literally 'thrown' on the table. We asked for the bill and haqd to wait another 20 minutes for it even though we ended up asking for it 3 times. We will never got there again.
We had a lovely meal here although we did feel it was slightly more expensive then other restaurants. We both had pasta one salmon and mine was a tomato based. Fantastic quality and service. Recommend highly
Fantastic place to watch Kalamaki go by. Very friendly and good service. Worth a visit
