We went to mermaids for an evening meal and although the food seemed far more expensive than anywhere else we had been decided it was down to quality. We were sadly mistaken! We both had fish and quite honestly the was off overcooked steak. The potatoes (advertised as mashed) tasted as if they had been made with an instant powder and the "vegetables" were clearly from a tin! I would not recommend this restaurant!

 Why is there not a bigger thumb and a 'we loved it' rating on this website?This restaurant is fabulous! It was the third place we ate on our holiday and the only place we ate for the rest of it, the food is amazing (if you only find it on your last night have the lamb with oregano, you will not regret it, in fact this will be the reason you take your next holiday in Kalamaki!), the service is friendly and efficient (hi to everyone esp. roz and saki).See you next year!

We absolutely loved this bar!the staff are fantastic and so are the drinks and music!most days we visited tony(the owner) at least 3 times who also recommended the greatest place to eat on the island (READ MY TESORO COMMENT AND YOU'LL SEE!) I love this place and it will definitely be my fist port of call on retruning to Kalamaki
