Just home from the Caretta Beach hotel. Once again we had a great holiday,3rd year there,cannot thank the owners and new manager Serena enough for making our stay so enjoyable,household staff were so good to us so thank you all,beds made every day and changed 3 times a week.   The bar staff,what can I say, they were as always,great guys,Tassos x 2, Speros and all the others,looked after us so well.   Our rep Tony was brill,always around if needed,always had time for a friendly chat,he is the best rep so far and hope he will be there for a good few seasons.  Thanks to everyone at this family run hotel for our best year so far,see you next year.

why can i not see the pictures i posted

Just looking at forums and there seems to be some negative postings about Kalamaki, I love Zante, and we as a family have been going for the past 3 yrs.  We stay at the Caretta Beach, the owners are so kind to everyone, staff, girls who keep our rooms tidy are so nice to us even if they only speak a little english we manage to have a conversation and a laugh.  In the 3yrs we have gone, we did the Athens trip twice,it was brill.  The island all day boat trip is a bit long for small children but theres half day trips which might suit.  Lots of lovely eateries, the best i think is Micheloes,also the steak house at the end of the resort towards the cave bar is good too,plus others,its fun trying them.  The people are so friendly and nothing is too much to ask,this is my own personal opinion and if anyone is not happy with anything speak to your hotel manager they are very helpful,esp Serena the new manager at the Caretta Beach.  Enjoy your holiday wherever you go in Greece this year.
