We went horse riding at the Akrotiri, with Marie. It was an excellent morning, although Marie wasn't riding herself, as she was heavily pregnant.

The horses were very well looked after and very easy to ride.It was my 7 year old nieces 1st time riding and she was led around by an American woman( sorry, forgotten her name!)and she was brilliant

. There were some 5 week old puppies and i think the kids enjoyed them just as much as the horses.

I would highly recommend this trip. Marie was really good about the booking and picks you up and drops you back off again.

Planos Aparthotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Returned from Planos Bay on Tuesday after a 2 week stay. It was our 1st time in Zante and we loved it.

After reading previous posts, I was worried about the kids getting ear infections but we were all fine and i didn't see anyone else suffering.We were on the 2nd floor above the snack bar and the noise was bearable( when we were in before everything finished!!).

The apartments were the best we have ever stayed in, there is everything you could need. Maid service was great, all the staff and reps were brilliant, they all work very hard and long hours, but were always smiling.The whole complex is lovely and clean. The pool is brilliant, not too deep for the non swimmers and there was always plenty of sunbeds.The entertainment was fine, there if you wanted to join in and not hassled if you didn't. Zante Swing were brilliant and the BBQ was really good.

The cooked breakfasts were spot on every day, I would highly recommend booking bed and breakfast.

George, Lee and Ben were great

. I would like to thank George and Lee for keeping Ryan safe, and let them know he's still detoxing now

We will definately be booking to go back next year.

Levante Speedboat Trip - (Zante Excursions)

If you do only one trip, make it this one

Captain Spyros was brilliant, funny, informative and very safety minded.He was great with the kids, letting them drive the boat.It was the best trip we have ever been on, well worth the money.The caves were great, as was the shipwreck.

Ian can be found at Freddies Bar, just past Tsilivi water sports.

Food service and price were exceptional.Only went once as there are so many others, but would highly recommend this resturant.

We ate here quite a few times and it was always great.We tried some Greek dishes and some not so Greek, but all of the food we had was of the best quality.The kids wanted to go to this restaurant every night!!! The service was fine and the waiter always remembered what drinks we wanted. We walked past most nights and there was never any pressure to go in, just a genuinley friendly Kalispera.

Thanks for some fantastic meals. Sam says Efharisto!!!(I thinks that's how you spell it!!)

Horse Riding - (Zante Excursions)

Myself and my 14 year old daughter went riding for the second year with Marie at Akrotiri Horse riding farm at the end of August.We had a fantastic mornings ride. I can not recommend the trip highly enough, it is a fantastic way to see the beautifull scenery that Zante has to offer.Marie really looks after her horses well and they obviously enjoy what they do.

As promised here are a couple of pictures that were taken last year. I didn't take any this year,sorry.A big thank you to Maries' scottish helper, she was a great guide.No doubt, we will come back for another ride if we come to Tsilivi next year.
