I'm very happy to hear that Down Under is opening soon and perfect timing for when we come over for our hols too.
I was getting worried at one point.
Can't wait only 3 weeks to go. just can't wait to see ya.

Hi Guys,
Missing you loads and wishing I was there with you all now, should of listened too you Nick and stayed.
We have booked already for next year, for the same time let the count down begin. Unfortunalty we can't make it in Oct got no hols left.
But it was great to see you all again and the bar buzzing as usual with all the same cheeky faces.

Zakynthos Airport - (Places to Visit in Zante)
It was our fourth time to Zakynthos and it's getting better slowly. It's alot better than it was when we went in 2001.
BUT PEOPLE BE WARNED THEY ARE VERY STRICT WITH WEIGHING LUGGAGE WHEN YOU GO HOME. ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CAUGHT OUT THIS YEAR AND WE ARE ONE OF THEM. DO NOT GO OVER 50KG (THAT'S 20KG FOR EACH CASE AND 5KG FOR HAND LUGGAGE) BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY 9 EURO PER 1KG, WHICH IS 6 POUNDS AND THAT'S A LOT. EVEN IF YOUR JUST 2KG OVER THEY STILL CHARGE.
IT'S JUST NOT ON, it's ok leaving to go because we was 5kg over in Manchester and said it's ok and stuck a Heavy sticker on the case, but when we came back we was appearently 12kg over and had to pay £71. which is a lot of money. so like I said be warned people. It's not the Greeks that check your weight it's your tour operator. ALSO WHAT MAKES ME LAUGH IS, IF YOU DO HAVE TO PAY FOR BEING OVER, THERE'S NOTHING TO STOP YOU FROM BUYING LOADS AND LOADS IN DUTY FREE. But Apart from that Zakynthos is a Fantastic place to go on holiday and it's not long till the Departure Lounge will be finished. 
Zakynthos Airport - (Places to Visit in Zante)
The
promised demonstration took place in Zante Town outside of the local
authority offices with regard to the airport. At the same time the
airport was handed over to the Local Authorities from the National
Government. Now preparations must be made by the Local Authorities and the
Airport Staff to get the new departures area ready with all the
necessary systems in place and working to open for the summer season. Fingers Crossed. It's looking Good

Zakynthos Airport - (Places to Visit in Zante)

Better late than never

| The new Airport of Zakynthos has been handed over |
The news spread quickly, and of course, brought cheers and joy all across the Island.
It appears that the €3,000,000 debt has been paid at last, and now there shouldn't be any further problems.
Now the race starts to move in, and install the new equipment from the old building, to the new before the start of the summer season.
The Mayor of the Island, Mr. Gasparos, announced that, from now on, the Council will make it a top priority to increase flights to the Island.
Mr. Xenos stated "The Airport does not belong to anyone in particular, not even the Mayor, it belongs to Zakynthos."

THE NEW DEPARTURES TERMINAL IS OPEN.
The long awaited departures terminal at Zakynthos Airport accepted it's first Olympic flight this evening and will be ready to accept the first charter flights when they start next week.
Despite rumours and feelings from some people that this terminal would never open finally it has happened. This is great news for all visitors to Zakynthos and many return guests will not be sad to say goodbye to the old building.

Hi Nick, Adonis, Lambros and everyone else,
Had A fantastic time yet again in the bar, missing you all loads wish I was there now, the weather in Britain is horrible and depressing, also to top it off I'm ill too
. Wish I could just jump back on a plane for you guys to cheer me up, but can't get the time off .
Oh well here's to counting down to next year.
Lambros and Adonis keep in touch guys.
