We went on the jeep safari on the 9th June. It was fantastic. Our guide, Tassos, was the best guide, he made the whole trip so funny. He even stopped off at the side of one of the mountain fields and let us pick cherries off a tree (not so sure we were supposed to but hey!). We saw some fantastic places and went on some really bumpy roads which is what a jeep safari is all about!
We really enjoyed this trip. We had seen the shipwreck from above when we went on the jeep safari so it was great to actually get down there on the boat trip. Just beware that the sea is freezing and the beach is all stones!
We both enjoyed this trip as it was great to see the birth plpace of the Olympics. The ancient site was really interesting and the modern town of Olympia was a lovely little place with some pretty good shops n tavernas. What I would say is that it wasnt as good as the 2 day trip to Athens. This was fantastic and although we were on the coach for quite a while, it didnt feel like it because our guide, Vera, was fantastic and there was always something to look at out of the window. If you were gonna do just one of these trips, I would recommend Athens.
My partener and i stayed here from the 4th june for 2 weeks. the location is perfect, it is far enough away from the clubs to not be disturbed at night, however if you wanted to go out on the lash then it is just a 15 min walk away, so its easy to stagger back. the room was excellent and kept very clean by the maids. the staff are possibly the most friendly people in the world who will stop at nothing to make sure your stay is a pleasent one. The entertainment is excellent, Jason and Manuell do a fantastic job. The food is also excellent if there is anybody on this planet who cannot find anything they like then they are trully abnormal. The drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic are also fantastic. This was the perfect place to stay on a perfect holiday.
