Anybody who is going to Tsilivi for the first time... you must visit the Paradise bar, we have been twice before in 94 and 99, looking forward to going back again to see Yannis and Anna, it doesnt change over the years, its always a welcoming madhouse.JUST A FEW MORE !! IF ANYBODY RECOGNISES THEMSELVES ( SORRY CANT REMEMBER MANY NAMES ) AND WOULD LIKE PHOTOS EMAILED TO THEM..... CONTACT ME ......clivemannering007@hotmail.com
Thanks to Tassos (tossoff) kostas, Aussie Jim and Spiros for several fun visits to 2 brothers.
Roy, you will find paradise on the main street as you leave tsilivi going towards Zante town direction, opposite calypso restaurant and near Raziz apartments ( And about 200 yards past the eyesore called Mcdonalds ) !!! Another highly recommended bar is The 2 brothers in the opposite direction taking left fork at popeyes restaurant, have a great time in tsilivi, you have to be without a pulse not to.
We met Tassos at the Paradise bar 11 years ago and he has carried his experience into 2 brothers with much to the bars benefit, a great bar to visit !! Get to know Jim the Aussie ....... a real good crack !!
To all the whingers about this airport, thuink yourselves lucky !! its twice the size now than it was 7 years ago, but still as disorganised, and unmanned in arrivals, you just dont know which belt your luggage might turn up on, we waited over an hour after landing at 7 in the morning and changed belt 4 times !!!!
Ps, departure is not a problem
Best breakfasts in Tsilivi by far (and we tried many different places for breakfast in our 2 week stay) ....... the meals very good in evening too. The waiters are very proffesional unlike some other restaurants where the lads are more interested in posing for and chatting up the young girls.
Food and service great here.... our party of 6 ended up eating here 3 times in 2 weeks as it was much enjoyed food wise as well as friendly polite staff. Thanks guys..... it was the choice by majority to dine here on our wedding anniversary with our friends and was a lovely evening with impressive food and hospitality.
Having visited Tsilivi several times over the years i dont know why we never tried Mambos before ! Great atmosphere and superb club and house music served up by DJ Andi and Takis. Our group of family and friends were made so welcome by these guys and Paris and Christina who also work the Mango beach bar by day ( i still havnt worked out where they find the energy on so little sleep ) ?? A genuinely lovely pair of characters. They treated us like family every time we appeared, and bar dancing is encouraged and enhances the care free atmosphere of the place, (not that you would catch me up there...... unless well oiled) !
