Wow what can we say.....One of the best holidays we've had in a while if we could have stayed at the Pothos for another few weeks we would have done. Mr & Mrs Pothos, Dennis, Demitri and Helen couldn't do enough for you and Rena's cooking is excellent! Greek night was great with delicious food (thanks to Mr Pothos and his BBQ!) and entertainment for a good price. The salt flats don't smell and the chickens and cockerel's cocking aren't next door but as sound travels at night you can hear them for the first few hours before you get used to them then they fade into the warm summer nights! Town has enough good places to eat that you can try a differant TavernaRestaurant every night of a 2 week holiday. We are a young couple but the Pothos had all age groups staying and the Pothos and Alykes town catered well for everybody.

Looking forward to a return visit

This was our second visit to Pothos and as last year we had such a good time we were hoping the return visit would live up to it. In fact it turned out to be even better. Dennis, Dimitris, Helen and the whole family (and Rena of course) made us feel very welcome as anybody who has visited before knows only they can do..!! I still don't know how they manage to do it but the place just makes you feel so relaxed and welcome you never want to leave.

If your thinking of booking to go here do it, we are a young-ish couple (30-28) who just want to take it easy on holiday and the Pothos's make this possible. The mix again was spot on with family's, couples (of all ages) and singles all enjoying their stay and passing on hints and tips of where they have been and where is good to go etc.

My favourite Cockerel was still there and cocking me along, We can't wait until our next visit which can't come around to soon.

Yes the rooms have aircon and it's at a reasonable rate. Any other questions let me know I have stayed there a few times. 

In my opinion Pothos is suitable for all ages. There is a small seperate pool ideal for a paddling toddler. The main pool would be fine for the older children. I hope this is helpful.

Plenty of room for parking right outside Pothos.

Hi Ant, There are a few places to rent a car in Alykes and I believe there is a dive centre near Laganas which isn't to far to drive. I hope this helps.
