I have been to Kalamki 5 years running.as I recall the Garden of eden is a long way from the resort centre and the beech.I think you may be best to rent a car.and take a jumper for the evenings plus a torch.we are going out also in sept.

The Athina Apartmens is just off the main street.the airport is not to far away you will get some noise but the airport has to close at night because of the loggerhead turtles.some days are very quite.sunday is a busy day for flights.most of the planes landing and take off  to the right of were you are staying.hope i have been of some help.
