We came back from 2 weeks at the Venus on Monday 14th August, we were very impressed with the hotel as well as all the staff and would not hesitate to go back to the venus again. I will be booking direct with the hotel next time as you can make good savings.
Visited the roof garden 3 times on our trip and it was excellent, do not hesitate to try this resteraunt if you are going. The view from there is lovely out over Kalamaki beech and the food was fantastic, my last dish i tried was the lamb kleftiko ( apologies if i spelt that wrong) it's a greek dish and it is wonderfull. Enjoy.
Drunk corner or HQ as we called it is the place to visit tassos is mad always bringing shots over or flicking straws at you. Don't know how he does it but he was always there last thing and there in the morning when we went for brekkie or a livener or both. Visit and enjoy and if you have an old football shirt take it and sign your names and he will put it on the ceiling. If you do point out the Everton shirt and tell him we said hi.
Magic Mushroom was Magic, we came back on the 12 Aug after a week in Argassi visiting our daughter . So when you visit and sit outside, the girl who serves you is Kelly, say hi to her and tell her, her dad and mum love her, and enjoy the mushroom.
Great to stop and have a snack especially the Giro's, and the guys in there a really friendly.
We ate twice here and we only stayed for a week it is well worth a visit, the grilled feta cheese starter is lovely, and the lamb kleftiko is gorgeous.
This is a lovely resteraunt the food was excellent, you turn right as you enter Argassi at the church it is up there about 50yrds. The setting is great just as you would imagine a little greek taverna to be.
Great little bar does good cocktails and good music and Yannis is ok too.
Hi Jodie this is Kelly's dad, she is still out there and enjoying it and has not recieved a date to come home yet.
