Hey everyone im loving the comments (although slightly nervous now, ill pack an extra towel!!!). Me and a friend are flying out to Perkes on Thursday night (31/08), im really looking forward to meeting this rep everyones raving about, she sounds like a scream which, if we're all honest is what we go on holiday for is it not??

Anyway anyone who wants to say hi just come over, guys or gals, and we'll get some serious nights out organised and some serious amounts of alcohol consumed !!!

right everyone this is the comment you just have to listen to cos most of the people on here just speak plain bollocks!!

me and matt have just returned from a week at the perkes and it was fantastic!! yes the rooms are basic and yes if you're bed abd breakfast you do only get a slice of cheese and ham and bread but apart forom that the staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere around the whole place is amazing. it all boils down to you. if your gonna sit there and moan and groan about every little thing that crops up like having to put your loo roll in the bin or the pool not been perfectly clean, then yes, you are gonna hate it. at the end of the day you are in a foreign country so the standards are not going to be like the ritz in london and for the price you can get a holiday for the standards are completely acceptable.

as for the people we met well i cant say a bad word about any of you guys and we're all missin you already!!! big shout out to mike, dom, big g and sarah, polly, steph and sarah-jayne. thanks for making the holiday an absolute belter and although you dont know it yet cos your still at the "perrrrrrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkessssssssssssssssssssss", we are already organising a reunion in manchester, prob the same date of the grand final - 14th oct so keep it free!!!!!

as for laganas itself well again it is fantastic. there are a whole host of bars and clubs to choose from and they're all good in there own way, from great music to fire breathing ripped barmen for all you ladies to p**v at. as for the best club well its gotta be cocktails and dreams all the way baby!!!!!!!!!! the music in there is great, a mixture of dance, indie, pop and cheese all mixed together with cheap cocktails - what more can a british holiday maker ask for???

anyway thats zante and the perkes in a nutshell. i would recommend it to anyone and i wouldn't hesitate to go back

ps just a couple of things to watch out for:

thieving little gypsies (some as young as 3 or 4yrs old!!!!)
the steak guy at a restaurant on the main strip. he has got to be the scariest mother f"*$er i have ever encountered !!!!!

Hey Kerrie yeah I remember you hope you got back upto Newcastle ok, I was stuck in the traffic and it took me 3 hrs to get home so I was pretty tired seen as I hadnt slept since monday ;-) ha ha anyway take it easy and all I have to say is PERKES RULES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
