We had 1 week in the Filoxenia from 23/8/01 and were well impressed. The accomodation was superb with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The pool area was great and the facilities were good. All the staff v. friendly and one of them even drove some friends we met back to Kalamaki when the taxies were on strike. The only down side was it is about a 10 min. walk to town, and the drivers are nuts so it can be dangerous. Keep hold of the kids. Tsilivi was great and we will come back to this resort and appartments again.

First time to the island on the 23/8/01 for a week. V. impressed with the resort which had plenty for everyone. Tried a different restaurant every night and did not have a bad meal anywhere. Found eating out reasonable even for 5 of us. Plenty of good tavernas and bars. Everyone friendly although you may have to watch out for taxi strikes if your going out of the resort. There were 3 in the week we were there that we knew of. If your going on a turtle tour get one that offers a guarantee to see turtles. We spent about £100 with our tour opperator and were disapointed. You get your money back on private ones. We look forward to going back soon as we found it great - 2 weeks next time.
