hi malcolm, leo + all the staff at bonanza
best hosts on the island and the bbq nights are legendary.
went into the pink panther every night, great bar with loads of atmosphere. jimmy the owner is an absolute legend. cheap drinks -only 1.5 euros for a pint. the staff are amazin especially tracey-best waitress from wigan.
never set foot in the place so can't comment on the food but the two tossers that hassle you outside the restaurant are so overbearing & arrogant i would never spend a single euro in that place. they tried dragging us in every morning for breakfast & even when we started walking the other side of the road to avoid them the big fat greek guy used to cross over as well and harrass us. don't give them the pleasure of eating there & thinking that bullying works.
this restaurant is worth a visit. we had to wait quite a while for our food but they were very busy that night. the food is great once you get it, i had the lamb kleftiko & the way they bring it out wrapped in foil with flames all around it is a spectacle in itself and it tasted amazing. staff friendly & good service.
following up my previous comments i forgot to mark up the location, etc to excellent as all the categories justifiably should be. its set in a quiet road near the crazy golf so its close enough to all the bars/restaurants,etc only a few minutes walk away. but quiet enough so you're not disturbed at night ( & a stones throw from the police station) and the worlds most underworked police dog who spends his days lying on the grass sunbathing & looking soppy.
Hi to all at The Bonanza-Malcolm, Leo and Julie
