Just got back from Zante,great holiday,nightmare airport.i just wish i read the forums before as i knew it could be bad but was not expecting this!Got dropped off at the airport at 1100 hrs for a 1500 hrs flight,joined the queue and that was it for a couple of hours.got to check in at 1300 hrs and made the mistake of going straight in to the departure lounge,big mistake.no seats,no air con working,toilets a thing to forget(still have nightmares!)and the cafe a very big rip off-25 euros for 2 rolls and 2 coffes!no prices on display and not very fresh either!I hear that the new lounge is ready but they will not open it yet,i hope it is when i go back next year so it should be a better system,the arrivals area is prety good but 1n hour wait for luggage to arrive and you need to guess which conveyor it is on as none of the screens worked.all in all it was an expeariance to endure and hope it never stays the same or it will stop a lot of people,especially the old and disabled and those with young children from going again.

Hi to ken and Jude,thanks for a great time and nice to finally meet you both.We made it home safe with the bottles of black sambucca just got to make the blackjacks now!!Hope to see you all next year and this time mandy might make it with us.Keep up the good work,you sit down every now and then and keep ken going HaHa lol!

Hi to all at the Athina,this is a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal without the noise of traffic as it is sited just down the ally opposite the magic mushroom in Argassi.All the staff are welcoming,especially Roberto!(Yamass mate!).You get value for money and good food,try the steaks and the swordfish,both done just right.They also do not rush you to leave and wiil have a chat with you.Hope to see you all next year so be ready for us!Also thanks for a great time on our last night there.
