Thanks for a great week Shortie and Jules. We love Greece, but, like many others, struggle with the food being a fussy eater. I already have a craving for a giant cheese and bacon burger and Jill wanted a pie on the plane, but got a chicken meal in a baccy tin instead. We cant praise the food or hospitality enough, so glad we found you. I noticed that someone has also praised you highly but mentioned the cats. I would like to say that where ever we ate in alikanas there were cats in the restaurant. I know you dont own cats, but you make every effort to keep them away without being cruel. I do not particularly like cats, but I never saw anybody bothered by them. Hope to see you next year. PS I agree with the chap Zantes best breakfast.
Sadly beelzebubs is now closed. This great retreat for those of us that love Greece but do not like the food and even those that do enjoy Greek food, a welcome bit of what you are used to, is gone, never to return.
Lucky enough I found the Cosy Corner offering supurb quality homecooked English food including the best English breakfast I have had since being here and only 3.50e, also Carol from Beelzebubs works here now so pretty much a home from home.
Well, it just gets better here. in just over a year The Cosy Corner has gone from being a great restaurant to being the best in the area. The food is stunning, the staff are so welcoming you feel like family and the prices are the best around too.
