just back from plubis appts had another great holiday with the family .  Cant wait to be back in september for 2 weeks IFyou have never visited the plubis pool it is the cleanest and best pool and pool bar in kalamaki good snacks at very good prices They also have a very good b.b q,  at least once a week with plenty of food and local wine all in a friendly greek family atmospher

Always go and eat  at baccus the kleftico is the best in kalamaki always a nice meal and good company will be back in september Nice to see the baby is doing well see you soon mario

 have known dereck and veronica for a lot of years we do not normaly eat english when we are in kalamaki. But in july on our way to zepos i noticed the lighthouse had a steak night .As i intended to have steak that night we decided to save our legs and eat in the lighthouse.HOW GLAD I AM WE DID I can honestly say it was the best T.Bone ihave had since the B.S.E SCARE cooked to perfection and searved up just as requested. When im back in september i will be looking out for the steak night .

Went to select for the first time on this visit and returned a further 3 times the food and service was top class The menu was large and not the same old same old as you get in most of the resturants in the resort. Astie who was the front of house man was the perfect host and whilst he was always attentive never gave the imppression of hovering.I willcertainly return to select next year and hope it is still as good  Asone of the many that return to kalamaki year after year some of the resturants seem to try to live off past reputations and with so many fighting for the same customers you have to be special the Select is VERY SPECIAL

Hi Kev home again wishing we were still in kalamaki will be back in july 2009cant come soon enough.  For any one who has not been in this bar give it a go good host in kev and all his customers seem to get on well together even if they have never met before. Great place wife thought cocktails where best in resort see you mate

Have used kevs bar twice a year since he moved to kalamki i am an early drinker so we arrive each night as kev is setting up. If you have never used the bar you should give it a go you will find kev to be a fine host and always very helpful .If you read this kev we will be a bit later this year normally early june but due to family wedding wont see you until 2nd july should be on the step as you open.If you update your blog in near future can you put soom info on whats closed and changed ect Give our regards to dereck and veronica see you soon keep busy.

  In zante for 18 days in sept 2010 went to mikaelos on 4 occassions never had a bad meal . I do not stick to one resturant when i visit zante which i do 3 or more times a season it is approx 5 yrs since i had been to mikaelos but it wont be as long again as it was worth the walk .i always take the owners of the accomadation i stay at plubas appts out for a meal on my last visit of the season and i choose this resturant .They are a greek family and all three said it was the best choice i had ever made.Keep up the good work see you next year.     Brian and Penny Lemmon
