The jeep safari is a great day out. We went and had off road driving, views to die for and lots of interesting information about parts of the island you probably would nt usually see. Ian our driver was good company and very efficient. The swim stop was good too. Only down side was 'wine tasting' which was a stop at a road side family shop where the stuff was well over priced and the family very very pushy to get you to buy something. Apart from that a great day out, thanks. Rose,Jim Susan and Jacky
Lovely setting, picked up by a free bus outside our hotel,. Greek dancing was excellent and food good and varied menu. Beautiful lilting greek music while we ate our meal by 2 gentlemen which was so romantic. As soon as we were ready to go home the bus took us back to our door. Cant get much better than this. Lovely for kids too as loads of room for them to join in dancing. Highly recommended.
We have stayed at the Poseidon many times before and were not disappointed to much this time. |We had some rooms at the back overlooking the garden and they could have done with a little TLC but where on the whole ok. Beds were a bit rickety and the slats popped out twice but they immediately sent someone to mend them. Cleaning is really good. Breakfast has always been continental but this year it was also full English so that was a lovely surprise. We booked and had a really good price so all in all it was a very good holiday. Would definately recommend it to any one and will be going there again.
Marie, just to let you know that Billy has taken over the restaurant (now called The Isles) and is running it with his wife Matilda . Nicos and Domenico are still there. Danny, Tele,Stephen,Aris and Peter all called in during the 10 days we were there, having arrived home yesterday. Mike the cook has gone but still the food is the best on the island. We ve had a terrific time with 18 other family members and cant fault it as usual. The Isles has a facebook so you can contact them all and see pics etc.
