We stayed at the mon repos in september 2001 and found it to be a fantastic place, the location was quiet but not too far from the town centre, there is a short cut to the main street but it is very dark at night so take a torch.the rooms are spotlessly clean and there is maid service two or three times a week.however the rooms do not have kettles or fans. the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Jon the english barman he will give you handy tips for enjoying your holiday while serving you any cocktail of your choice, and what a choice.Spiros the other barman is a local and a bit of a practical joker so watch out, If he gets on your nerves a bit just throw him in the pool!. Sakis and Anna are the owners and live on site, so you will probably find either or both of them near the bar area.

During our stay in Laganas we nearly always ate at this restaurant, the food is delicious as is the service and price. If you go here on a sunday evening they will serve you a traditional english sunday meal or if you do not want english food the local dishes are exellent.If you don`t have a taste for Greek food, try eating here, you`ll love it!
