Specifically the hotel is fantastic for relaxing. eating and drinking is cheap and the staff and fellow guests are brilliant, in fact me and my girlfriend were one of the very few who have never been to this hotel before which tells a story. The breakfast is adequate and the setting of the hotel is good just 400m from the fantastic kalamaki beach and 600m from the restaurants. In two weeks we never had a bad meal just some that were not as good as the others and the value was really good. The whole resort is basically a place where you can just relax. Go to the Parthenon restaurant next to the rose and crown on the high street the country lamb is unbelievable and the food is cheap but amazing. If you go to the beach dony buy anything from the kalamaki beach bar use the hut at the entrance to the beach. It is owned and run by an english girl and her greek husband and again the food is great the drinks are cheap and the service is good. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Re trips we did the whole island tour on the boat for 22 euros eah and it was brilliant as it stops off at the shipwreck and caves for swimming. Dont book any trips with the tour operators as the same trips are available in kalamaki a lot cheaper.You will love this holiday.
