Vlahos (Dannys) Taverna

If you make the trip out to Porto Roma in Vasillikos, be sure to pay a visit to this friendly family run taverna, which serve both local and international dishes. Denis, the owner/chef is a real character, very friendly and hospitable, he'll cook you some great food then sit with you for a chat and an ouzo. He went out of his way to look after us. On our last night, after we'd done the rounds to say our goodbyes, he cooked for us at MIDNIGHT! We can't praise this place enough, they really helped to make our first visit to Zakynthos a special one and we hope to return before too long.
