Mai Bar and Cafe

Just back from Vasilikos and after vewing a comment on this little Greek bar decided to give it a go. The mousaka is truly delicious, the best Iv'e ever eaten (and Iv'e eaten a lot of it)you can tell it's home-made with fresh ingredients from the garden out back. The owners Yiannis and Helena are so friendly even though they don't speak english and our greek was minimal we still managed to have a great time with these two lovely people, not to mention their daughter-in-law who owns the shop next door.Her english is excellent, she was great at trying to help us with greek not an easy task!!!
She was really our rep anything we wanted to know she was a font of all knowledge, and a really beautiful person. We will go back. See you again Joanna. Many thanks xxx

Back again spent many a happy night in this bar great company and mama makes a great mouska and papa pours a mean drink, you can get a nice cool drink during the day and a snack and watch the world go by,if your passing please stop in and say hello.next door is Mai`s supermarket in there you will find Joanna who will tell you the best beach or anything you need to know, ask her to show you her new villa`s

A real locals bar, no loud music, the couple who own this bar cannot do enough to make you welcome, the beers good the prices are good and the welcome is fantastic, if you go say hi to john and his wife(the owners)also pop in to the supermarket next to it, same family, we will be there again in september.
