Clear Horizon

We stayed at Clear Horizon for the last two weeks in September the weather was great.Our apartment was basic but clean & well situated right by the pool! The view was amazing. Andy & his staff were so friendly nothing was too much trouble. There are a number of tavernas close by & all but one served excellent food. You go to Billis shop for the latest football results (wether you want them or not!) The turtles leave at the end of August so dont go on a trip to see them it will be a waste of money. Every thing very cheap all together a wonderful holiday & we will be going again.One point to note Zante is disabled friendly with wheel-chair access to most shops ect.

We'll be staying at Clear Horizon Apartments during the last week of September 2001. It sounds perfect as we want a peaceful, relaxing week and from the comments on this site it seems ideal. But I have four questions: 1) does anyone know what the weather might be like at this time of year? I'm hoping it's still warm enough to get a tan! 2) Do all Clear Horizon studios and apartments have balconies or terraces overlooking the sea? We'll be in an apartment... 3) Is there somewhere in Amoudi or nearby Alykanas/Alykes where you can hire mopeds/bikes for a good price? We'd like to visit villages in the centre and the north coast. 3) How easy is it to get from Amoudi to the north east tip where the ferry goes to Keffalonia? We're thinking of doing a day trip there if that's possible. If anyone can help me with my queries before 21st September that'd be great! Exactly what we were looking for! A complete getaway from it all. Superb location, amazing view and excellent food. I was unfortunatly taken ill during my stay and Andy could not have been more attentive and helpful - even took me to the hospital which was a godsend with the language barrier. Would not hesitate to go back!

Absolutely fantastic! All apartments have a sea view with lovely balcony which also overlooks the gorgeous pool below. Perfect for peace and quiet. The beach is literally 60 seconds away and staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached was fantastic and the best in Amoudi. Some people we saw thought Amoudi was a little too quiet so be prepared!

Just got back on the 4th of June after 2 excellent weeks. Took 3 kids 10, 8 and 2.5 yrs old. They loved it. Safe beaches with very little waves that was waist high for 30 yrds. Beautiful food in restaurant below appts. Nice and clean, basic appts. Not noisy at night. There were 5 or 6 bars near by and 2 or 3 restaurants too. All in all a brilliant fortnight.
