THE BEST restaurant in Tsilivi. The Lamb Pougi is the best dish I've had in over 20 years of visiting greece. Wonderful food and always our first stop in Tsilivi.

Hi Sian, my wife and I met you in October last year at Magdalena's it was her 30th Birthday and we were responsible for the balloons and cake!!! (That was also the infamous night of the naked South African guy wandering around the streets of Tsilivi after being "escorted" out of the bar by Dennis and myself).

Well we've been back home a week and are missing our late nights in Mags . Cheers for looking after us again and the drambuie sniffers went down particularly well!!! I may have to have a red aftershock tonight to remind me of what we are missing!

Just come back from 2 fab weeks in Zante and spent many occasions in the wonderful Fiorentino. Frank's Lamb Pougi seems to get better every year and for the first time this year I tried the sea bass baked in the grease proof paper which was absolutely delicious.

Hi Maggie and Danny. Sorry for the delay in sending this but the last 7 weeks have been a muddle of nappy changes, sleepless nights and the likes! Caz gave birth to our beautiful baby daughter Hannah Lily on 28th October and she weighed 6 pounds 12. Both are doing really well and we hope to come over to Tsilivi in late September or early October 2009 where we will proudly show her off!!!! Absolutely gutted to here you are closing at the end of this season , the last time we were there was June last year when my wife was heavily pregnant, we've since had a beautiful little girl and though we would love to come and see you in your last year in Tsilivi I think it may be too soon to go abroad with her.

I will miss the Lamb Pougi tremendously, if you can ship some over to Birmingham or at least give the recipe when you close that would be great !

It varies where we stay, have stopped in Cosmopolitan, Amarylis and Mavrikos but now having the little un we are in the Zante Maris next year as it has a few more facilities. Can't wait to get back just gutted that Fiorentino's is closing

Yeah the euro really isn't helping. Last year we spoke to Maggie and Danny who own Sweet Revenge and they have said that business is quiet because there are a lot of Scandinavians going to Zante now and they never bother eating out they always cook in their apartments. Just hope none of our other favourite haunts close.

Sweet Revenge is fab I would say now Fiorentino's is closing it will be our favourite haunt, its next door to Benikos though it does have a front side and a back side so you can turn right after passing Camelot and get to it that way. Maggie and Danny are the couple who own it and they really look after you. They do beautiful food on the charcoal spit, really nice lamb chops. There are some reviews on here also if they help. If you go tell them Chris, Caz and Hannah say hello. 

Where is Tsilivino as it sounds like an interesting place for a meal. Will give it a whirl when I go back to Tsilivi in 2009.

Having been in Tsilivi in October a couple of years ago I can confirm that wasps are a bit of a nuisance at this time of year. I nearly sat on one on the beach which would've been interesting! The best thing I can advise is to look on the net for Wasp Repellant, I have bought some this year and it works like a charm.

Back from another 2 glorious weeks in Tsilivi and more fantastic food at Sweet Revenge. Apologies I had to dart off on the last night Maggie, I think I'd had a bit too much sun and just needed to get some fresh air!
