Will be staying here between 3-17 May 2001 with my daughter who will be 18 months - has anyone got any information about facilities etc?
Hi, We are taking our daughter to Zante in May. She's only 18 months old - I'd just like to hear from people who have taken little ones there on holiday to get a general idea of anything I should be cautious of or if anyone has got any recommendations let me know - we are going self catering. Thanks Jess
Hi Carolyn I'll be sure to give you the full low down on what the apartments are like - and aything else that you might find interesting.
The apartments are clean and tidy but obviously quite basic. The location is excellent! Right next to the beach. There are 2 swimming pools and 2 kiddies pools. There are about 10 tavernas/restaurants in the area and all serve great food. Not many of them have high chairs but Syrtakis do and so do Manthos. The Maestro Restaurant has Greek dancers once a week and they are worth checking out.
Food is good. Traditional Greek dancing weekly (worth a look). Friendly service and relatively cheep for food and drinks.
Restaurant is situated looking over the sea (you sit outside). George the owner is super and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. A bit pricy for some of the food particularly fish like Red Snapper (works out at about £18!) But if you want a cheap breakfast - this is the place to go.
Excellent food and prices are good. Good for small children too as they have high chairs and a small walled garden with childrens play stuff).
