September 2001 was our first visit to Alikes.We found the Potamitis Studios comfortable and clean. George and all his family made us feel very much at home and were extremely helpful and friendly thoughout. George even delivered our meal to the apartment one night for our anniversary! Rosie the dog also made us feel very much at home! We would highly recommend these studios to anyone seeking a tranquil and hassle-free holiday.

A brilliant rest stop on the way home from the beach. Iced Mythos, friendly family-run bar. Beware, one day it took us 4 hours to walk 1km!! Yes the beer is that good after a day on the beach!

Excellent bar and hospitality second to none! Excellent music and food. Internet access is cheap and easy. Sometimes difficult to get back to the apartment after an evening with Vasillis but that is the only complaint (?)

Food was absolutely gorgeous! Simple but beautifully cooked and presented. We'd also highly recommend getting a carafe of the local Verdea - gorgeous stuff and cheap too!

Traditional Greek food in perfect surroundings - calm, relaxed overlooking the sea. This is where you'll find a lot of the locals eating too! We always think that's a good sign!

Excellent for breakfast - stocks you up for the day! The family are all brilliant and also a mine of information about the island, customs etc. Nice and quiet, away from the crowds on the crossroads. Traditional food also of a very high standard.

Have to add another comment after our recent second visit to Alykes. Yria is brilliant! Watch out Vassilis, we're definitely coming back later this year!!!
