hiya! 6 of us (2 lads, 4 lasses) are coming to laganas on 7th july staying at Savvas apartments - cant wait! (look out greek men -you're louise's favourites!!!) if anyone wants to meet up then post a message on here with your email address and i'll mail you see ya there............x
by the way, blackburn lads, we're from chorley - what apartments are you staying in???
By far the best restaurant in Lagana, we ate there 3 times in 2 weeks. Fantastic vegetarian choice and equally good service - the waitress remembers your order without writing it down and it was never wrong. Look out for the guys trying to attract you to the restaurant outside - they'll give you a 10 percent off voucher!
we never went in the lokanda due to the p**vy guy who harrasses you outside. the restaurant looked nice but on the principle that he was disgusting and creepy, we never ventured in.
Went here twice in 2 weeks - food was nice and service good. Best of all is the fit guy who stands on the door!
Although the food was good, the service here is terrible. We went twice in 2 weeks - both times the waiter, who didnt even seem to have a lot about him or know what was on the menu, didnt write down our order and had to come back and take it again as he'd forgotten it. On our second visit, he dropped a red hot garlic bread onto my friends leg and all he did was laugh. I would not come here again and certainly did not want to leave a tip other than, get new staff.
we didnt think much of this restaurant - the food wasnt anything special but the worst thing was the seating - there are no chairs around the tables just tiny benches and they squashed 6 of us onto them. the whole meal was really uncomfortable. the service too had a lot to be desired - we asked for the bill 3 times before it finally arrived
Looked like a really nice restaurant but we were very disappointed with it. Service was extremely slow - pizza's were horrible, i found a hair in mine. They should take a leaf out of La Bella Napoli's book.
We planned on spending the day in Zakynthos town but had done everything there was to do (not a lot) by midday so left. the shops are rubbish - very expensive jewellery shops and not a lot else. Takes about 10 minutes to walk around them. The section along the marina is very pretty with great views but there is no real centre of town and nothing to do. Would not bother to go there again.
