As always, Tassos is innovative! the colzone pizza is bread dough, stuffed with cheese and herbs, and deep-fried. it is a starter called psomitiri, and is a speciality of Patras on the mainland.

These apartments are in Vassilikos village (sometimes known as Potamia). There is 1 taverna 50 metres away, and the others on the village main street are between 5 and 15 minutes walk.

I quite agree with Paul. The loss of The 2 Giorgio's and Siobhan has hit them badly.

A relatively new addition to the Alikanas scene, but as it is fronted by George and Siobhan, formerly of Alkionis, it goes without saying that it is excellent!! Owned by a fisherman, and the fish is excellent. A good selection of vegetarian dishes also.
