This was our 3rd time in Zante and I rate this restaurant the best ever. The meals were absolutely superb. Everything is freshly prepared, and you can see that the kitchen is spotless. The staff are friendly, and the chef from London is not only a fantastic cook but is also a total nutter!! My young son loved him!! Once you sample the delights of Boun Amici,- you will not want to eat anywhere else.

We have our breakfast here every day -wonderful and at a reasonable price. The owners and waiters are very friendly and great with the kids. A big hello to John and his lovely wife and to Neri.

We love Kalamaki,-however found that on this visit the resort is sadly getting busier and nosier. Why is Karoke inflicted on us at almost every bar? We want Greek atmosphere, not Blackpool. We will go back but will stay off the main Kalamaki road. The greek people make the stay so lovely. BE WARNED: DO NOT USE THE HORSE AND CARRIAGE RIDE. WE AGREED A PRICE-BUT AT END OF RIDE HE STILL TRIED TO TREBLE IT AND GOT NASTY WHEN WE WOULDNT PAY. A TAXI IS 10 TIMES CHEAPER.

We had a great few hours here.- A big thank you to Mary the reptile lady- you made our visit so interesting i'm not so scared of snakes now! This place is well worth a visit and value for money.

We have just come back from a lovely hols. The hotel and pool area are kept immaculate,& all the staff are very friendly. Had to hire a kettle, no fridge in room either, but didn't hire as would have cost us £50.00 for 2 weeks, which we thought was too dear. The kids reps are great, but we felt that there could have been more going on for adults. Water Basketball every day can get abit boring. People who had been to 'Superfamiles' elsewhere confirmed that there was alot more entertainment/games at other resorts. However,I would still definately recommend hols here if you are looking for something relaxing/child friendly. By the way, the sad idiot who complained loudly to the reps about people at the Exoctica bar enjoying themselves past 10pm, (you know who you are) get a life, and next year book yourself onto an old peoples' coach holiday.

Have just been to Zante for the 4th time and still rate this restaurant as one of the best. The staff are wonderful with the children and certainly made our holiday that little bit extra special.
The food is great, pasta cooked to perfection, and nothing is too much trouble. Much appreciation to Nico,Lisa,Stuart and to all the staff,- could you now please open up a restauarant in england??

We have been to zante four times and all I will say is MERMAIDS IS MACDONALDS. If I had wanted this kind of food I would have gone to a cafe in Blackpool. I have just read some of the previous comments, and the people who get very defensive of Mermaids sound like they are well suited to eat there every night. It's obvious that they will not like the greek tavernas.
Prehaps tourists like these are partly responsible for why Zante is becoming sadly so commercialised now.
