Down Under - (Bars in Kalamaki)

Lee M  (24 July 2002)

This has to be the best place in Kalamaki. Went there so many times in the tow weeks we were there and met some great people. Leon is a mad fool- watch out girls- he'll be after you!!! Cocktails are great and bloody cheap before 10pm (2 for €5). Make sure you go there!!

Apollon - (Bars in Kalamaki)

Went here on our last night, but wished we'd gon e there before. Sara the barmaid is well fit and a right laugh as well. Will definitely go back there next year.

White House Apartments - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Lee M  (24 July 2002)

I stayed here with Lee Windle (see below) and I would agree with him on everything, most of all, RENT A FAN!! Those rooms are like bloody saunas. If you need to speak to the owner, ask Jo the rep to pass the message on cos the lady knows next to no english. If you're in room 20, listen out for strange noises coming from jo's room (21) at night. Say hi to her from me and tell her not to break any more chairs. Oh, and say hi to Costas and Panos at the Two Brothers.

Mermaids - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Have to say, after what i'd heard i was expecting great things, but i can honestly say this place was pretty dire. Food was crap, serive was even worse. go there at your peril.

Olympic Holidays - (Tour Operators in Zante)

Lee M

I would definitely travel with Olympic again. We stayed at the White House apartments and had Jo the rep in the room next door to us. She was a great rep and a right laugh. Most of all, she drinks like a fish (a girl after my own heart). Any problems, she tried to sort them out quickly. Accomodation was basic, but clean. Flights were good, but Monarch cabin crews could do with smiling a bit more. Say hi to Jo if you're going there soon, and tell her to stop breaking Costas' chairs.
