give the pie shack a go, believe me you won't be dissappointed. we ate there twice, and if we had found out about it before, we would have gone lots more. sunday lunch, served in the evening, big slice of beef, yorkshire pud,REAL mash spuds, lovely, veg and gravy, couln't be faulted, they even do smaller helpings for the smaller appetite. then there are Pauls pies, i tried the steak pie, lets say i have never tasted a nicer pie anywhere, and i include my own in that. Paul and his staff are brill. the pie shack can be found on Riverside walk in Alykes. We loved it at Danny's, very quiet, very clean, pool excellent, Avril and Dave on the snack bar very pleasant,Armando in Danny's bar is just mad but brill. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.
