I came back from the lovely laganas a week ago, and now all I want to do is go back and work in a cocktail bar!
Cocktails & Dreams was definitley my fave place to go - it had the best cocktails, my fave being a chocolate orgams, and it had some of the craziest - i never want to try a red eye/bloody mary ever again!
Yeah, they did play the same music, but I liked it, coz it meant everyone would be dancing and having a good time - its just so much fun if you can just let yourself go with the flow!
It did get really busy, and crowded, but if your having a good time, you dont care! It was a bit pricy later on - but if your pissed and having a good time, you dont care!
The barmen were always friendly and rather nice too - one kept winking at me and the other kept smiling at me, which was nice! The glass collector seemed miserable at first - but after me and my mate went "WAHEY" everytime we saw him, he turned out to be quite funny!
Loads of crazy, fun people in there, everyone was danicng, me and my mate met a really fit guy in there who was wearing a bandanna, only met him the once, no idea who he was, but he made us smile!!
a good night guaranteed!!!
It was quiet when we went in, but the staff got it just right, they were always there when we needed something, but didnt pester us. They were also really helpful.
A bit pricier than some of the other places, but worth it, as it was the only place we went to that had branded napkins and little wet wipes.
Food was good, but I had so much I couldn't finish mine. Then when we were done - we didnt have a long walk to the best of the night life!
It was the best chinese I went to on the island.
It was a nice place - food was good, most of us had the lasagne. We made the mistake of sitting next to the speaker though.
Service was quite good as well and helpful, it wasn't really busy though.
Over all not a bad place.
A nice place, not the best place for a quiet meal if the bar across the road is doing kareoke, which it usually is!
Service was good, as was the food!
We went here on the first night, we were all really hungry.
It seemed like a good place to me.
Food was nice, some of the portions were too small, others too big. Service was quite good too.
A very pretty place to eat, even when your stuck in the courner, but very busy. Some people in there seemed a bit stuck up.
The bread they gave us at the start was the nicest I had there - the meals were ok. I had a pizza, good size, couldnt finish it all though.
Service wasnt that great, and some of us nearly got our heads knocked off by the waiters with huge wooden trays, but it was really busy.
It was a long day, but worth it. Boat was a little over crowded, but the sea was nice and calm, so I didnt feel ill. Very hot on the top deck, but the views are beautiful!!
Best to tke your own food and drink, coz the prices on there were ridiculous!
It was all worth it just to see the water at the shipwreck! I have never seen water so clear and such a wonderful blue! No one believes me when I tell them the water was literally WKD Blue coloured, but I assure everyone it is! Those who are more cynical think the ship was "planted" there as a money making scheme - but once again its still worth going to see the water - it really is a beautiful place!
It was a bit busy there, be careful when clambering on the wreck - it doesnt look that safe!
Its an experience I will always remember!
Went to Laganas on the 13th July and stayed at the Aprhodite Hotel. I loved the beach - the sea was so nice and relaxing.
Nightlife was always lively - my fave place was Cocktails and Dreams! Definitely a great place to go, quite clean and always sunny!
I always felt safe - but ive heard stories while I was there of people getting glassed and stuff. The rose sellers are really annoying - some of them were quite nasty and persistent.
Wouldnt reccommed it for people who want a quiet holiday - zante town seemed a pretty place.
Most of us got ill over there - so do be careful with where and what you eat and drink.
Apart from that a really fun loving place, very beautiful - you must see the turtles!
A great experience!
